Corporate Cashmere Gifts

A cashmere gift is kept. That is the whole argument for it — and the reason it is worth getting the specification right rather than buying whatever is in stock.

What works as a corporate gift

Featherlight stole 100% cashmere 100×200 cm, 72–95 g Client and executive gifting; packs flat, travels well

Square shawl 100% cashmere 132×132 cm VIP guests, weddings, destination events
Cashmere blanket or throw 100% cashmere 150×250 cm Hotels, hospitality suites, high-value recognition gifts
Cashmere-silk cushion 70% cashmere / 30% silk 46×46 cm, 51×66 cm Hospitality interiors, lifestyle gifting
Knitted shawl or wrap 100% cashmere 80×200 cm Employee recognition, milestone gifts

Quantities

Gifting programmes rarely match a standard wholesale run, so it is worth knowing where the thresholds sit:

  • Scarves, stoles and shawls — from 20 pieces per style, 5 per colourway.
  • Blankets and throws — from 1–3 pieces per colourway, 5 pieces total. A small executive gifting programme is entirely feasible.
  • Larger programmes — tell us the headcount and the date; the constraint is usually lead time rather than quantity.

Making it yours

  • Your colours. Matched to a Pantone reference or your own swatch, or chosen from our in-house shade card. Two-tone and reversible combinations are available across the blanket range.
  • Your branding. Woven or printed labels, and embroidery, screen print or digital print where the design suits it. Send us the artwork and we will tell you which method will actually look good on cashmere — some do not.
  • Your packaging. Packaging is developed with you as part of the project rather than picked from a list.

Plan the timing backwards

Bulk production runs approximately 45–60 working days from confirmed order and advance payment, and that is before freight. A new development sample adds roughly 30–45 days ahead of that. For a December gifting programme, a conversation in July or August is comfortable; October is tight.

If your date is fixed and close, say so at the first email — we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than discovering it together in week six.

How it runs

  1. Tell us the occasion, headcount, budget band and date.
  2. We propose products and customisation options, and quote.
  3. You approve a sample — a reference piece, or a branded development sample.
  4. 50% advance, production, balance before dispatch.
  5. We handle Nepal export customs and can source freight to your delivery window.

Why Nepal, for a gift

A gift that carries a story is a better gift. Ours is a family business making cashmere in Kathmandu since 1982, with a workforce primarily made up of skilled women knitters and menders, and pieces that pass through more than forty hand processes. That is a genuine provenance you can put on a card — no embellishment required.

Matching the product to the occasion

Occasion What tends to work Why
Executive and board gifting Cashmere blanket or throw Highest perceived value; minimum from 5 pieces makes small programmes viable
Client gifting at volume Featherlight stole, 100 × 200 cm Packs flat, ships light, suits every recipient regardless of size
Conference and event Woven scarf, 70 × 200 cm The most cost-effective piece that still reads as a real gift
VIP guests and weddings Square shawl, 132 × 132 cm Generous without being a garment; works across cultures
Hotels and hospitality Throws and cashmere-silk cushions Lives in the room rather than in a bag
Employee recognition Knitted shawl or wrap Durable, everyday, and not obviously corporate

Branding, honestly assessed

Not every logo works on cashmere, and the ones that fail tend to fail in the same ways. A few things worth knowing before you send artwork:

  • A woven or printed label is the most reliable route. It reads as a considered product rather than merchandise, and it survives washing.
  • Embroidery suits a simple mark — a monogram, a wordmark, a single-colour device. Fine detail and small type fill in on a lofty fibre.
  • Screen print handles bold, flat colour separations. Digital print carries fine detail and gradients.
  • Large solid logos across the body of a scarf usually look worse in cashmere than the mock-up suggests, and they shorten the life of the gift, because the recipient wears it less.

Send us the artwork and we will tell you which method will actually look good, including when the answer is “not this one”.

Packaging

Packaging is developed with you rather than picked from a list, so tell us what the gift has to do: whether it is handed over in person or shipped, whether it needs to survive a conference tote, whether a card or certificate goes inside. We will come back with options and costs alongside the product quotation rather than as an afterthought.

A note on quantities and honesty

If your programme is 2,000 pieces on a fixed date eight weeks out, we will tell you plainly whether that is achievable. Handwork at our scale has limits, and a corporate gifting programme that arrives late is worse than one that was never promised. Earlier conversations almost always produce better answers.
