How a scarf order works

  1. Brief. Construction, size, colours, quantity per style and colour, label and the date you need the goods.
  2. Sample. Charged at 2× unit cost and deducted from the bulk order under the agreed terms. New developments take about 30–45 days and are paid in advance. How sampling works.
  3. Approval. You approve colour, hand-feel, size and weight on a physical sample.
  4. Production. 45–60 working days. Payment is 50% to start and 50% before dispatch.
  5. Dispatch. Ex-works or FOB Kathmandu, with your labels, tags and packing marks.

Choosing colours and quantities

Minimums apply per style and per colour, because each colour is a separate dye lot. Fifty pieces in one colour is one line; fifty pieces split across five colours is five lines of ten and needs a custom-quantity conversation. If you are testing a market, fewer colours in a proper quantity sell through more reliably than many colours in tiny lots. How colour matching works.

Buyer questions

What is the minimum order for cashmere scarves?

50 pieces per style and colour as standard. Smaller or mixed quantities can be reviewed individually through the custom quantity form.

Can I have my own label on the scarves?

Yes. We sew in your woven label, care label and hang tag, and pack to your instructions. We do not put our name on goods made for a brand.

Can I order from your existing designs?

Yes. Existing designs in existing colours move fastest because they skip development. Ask about current availability when you send your brief.

What is the difference between a scarf, a stole and a shawl?

Mostly width and length. Scarves are narrowest, stoles are wider and longer, and shawls and wraps are wide enough to wear around the shoulders. Exact sizes are set in your specification.

How long does a scarf order take?

Sampling first, then 45–60 working days of production after sample approval, plus freight.
